CARTOONS-The world of humour.

This is the topic we are currently working on.We all know that cartoons or animations is the perfect tool for imparting any sort of information to the children.
Although we usually associate cartoons with entertainment, in fact they can have many more serious implications. Children love cartoons - as we all know from the fondness they have for the cartoon networks- so why not make this attractive medium work for teaching and learning as well.
We can use animations or cartoons to teach English and Composition. The children can watch a cartoon, then discuss the plot ,the characters, narrate the story in their own words and can also write them. This way they can hone their observation skills, vocabulary, conversing skills and also writing skill. All in a fun filled way.
